My thought as well. I love how bioshock makes teh player grow just as attached to Lizzbith as Booker does by making her so damn useful. after she throws you a health pack when your just about to die, your can't help but like her. Heck i once instinctively wasted an entire clip of crank gun ammo trying to save her from a threatening cutscene!
negative: shes the best video AI controlled computer character (and i feel there is a difference) not because of how she interacts with the protagonist (Booker): but how she interacts with the player, her programing makes the player get just as attached to her as Booker does, which is what gives the story such KICK.
Yes, Elizabeth is the best , she really take good care of Booker, but I don't like the way she gives you the things, because you need to react too fast and is too random, you just end super epic battle and suddenly Elizabeth as if nothing says "hey, you need some money?" and I'm just like "LOL, where the fuck did you get that?, we were in the middle of a battle!", but...meh...she's a very lovely and useful sidekick.
I still am an Elanor Lamb fan first and foremost, but realize that she was too powerful to be a constant companion. So yes when it comes to civilians travelling with you Elizabeth sets entirely new standards.
Yeah. Lizzy makes escort missions not suck. She gives you ammo for you guns, your powers, restores your health, and tosses you cash so you can upgrade and stock up. Not to mention she's not bad to look at either.
